Benefit- High Beam

I have tried many different highlighters over the years and i always end up coming back to high beam by Benefit. i love the formula of this as well as the colour of the highlighter.

High beam is a light pink pearlescent highlighter that creates a gorgeous dewy glow, the more you blend this product out the sheerer it becomes. I have also added a small amount of the high beam to my moisturiser if my skin is looking a bit dull and tired and hey presto i look like my skin has been kissed by angels.
Unblended High Beam

I mainly use this dotted along my cheek and brow bone then blended out with my finger or a concealer brush, and let me tell you when the light hits the highlight it looks incredible.

The formulation of this is really lovely, i have quite dry skin and i find quite a few highlighters can dry my skin out after a while however High beam doesn't seem to have that effect this is due to the really creamy consistency. One thing to watch out for when using this is less is more if you use too much in one spot you can go from looking dewy to excessively shimmery.

My only issue with this is the packaging, it comes in a nail polish style bottle which inevitably means that you will not be able to get every drop of product out of the bottle and the fact it retails at £19.50 this kinda annoys me.

Emma Hardie - Moringa Cleansing Balm

So after reading all the hype around the Emma Hardie moringa cleansing balm I finally caved and purchased it. I have to say i was quite surprised by the price £36.00 for 100g personally i think this is very reasonable when you take into consideration you will only have one skin your whole life.

First off the packaging of this product is beautiful the balm comes in a gold pot with a clear outer casing ( I'm a sucker for nice packaging). The balm its self smells really fresh, the consistency is somewhat hard to categorise though its in between a sold balm and a liquid (it moves around when you tip the pot).

Cleansing balm

I scoop out a small amount of product from the pot (5 pence piece size) slightly wet my hands and rub the product between them, this will create a whitish cream this is when i rub the balm in circular motions on  my face ( you don't need to have a west face for this BONUS)  working from the middle of my face outwards.

Dual cleansing cloth
I tend to let this sit for a few minutes so my skin can get as much benefit out of the balms as possible, whilst i'm waiting for i fill the sink with warm water and soak the dual cleansing cloth the balm comes with, the cloth is double sided there is a soft  microfibre side to polish the face and the slightly more abrasive muslin side if for exfoliation.

After using this balm i have to say in my opinion it is worth the hype i have noticed a massive difference in my skin which is usually very dry not this balm leaves my skin is feeling clean but not stripped of moisture. I would highly recommend purchasing this product its a good investment.
